Background
The City of Farmington is seeking quotes for a 15KV Circuit Breaker to be delivered to the Electrical Warehouse located at 101 N. Browning Parkway, Farmington, NM 87401. This procurement is part of the city's efforts to maintain and enhance its electrical utility infrastructure.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish and deliver a 15.5kV power circuit breaker intended for use as a 13.8kV substation feeder circuit breaker. The specifications include:

- Nominal voltage: 13.8 kV
- Rated maximum voltage: 15.5 kV or greater
- Maximum symmetrical interrupting capacity: 25,000 A RMS
- Rated continuous current: 1,200 A minimum
- Maximum interrupting time: 3 cycles
- Full wave withstand (BIL): 110 kV
- Chopped wave withstand, peak: 142 kV

The breaker must be equipped with magnetic actuated or spring storage operating mechanisms with anti-pumping features. It must also include an auxiliary switch with spare contacts for customer use. The successful bidder must provide installation procedures, maintenance recommendations, and shipping information.

Period of Performance
The delivery date is critical and will be specified in the bid response; however, it is expected that delivery will occur after the issuance of a purchase order following the award of the contract.
