RFP 25-019 RRR Roofing Services/Repairs On Call

Background
Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) is the largest school district in New Mexico, covering over 1,230 square miles and serving approximately 75,000 students with 11,000 employees.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the procurement of Roofing Services and Related Services on Call.

Work Details
The contractor will provide roofing services including but not limited to: removal of defective or damaged roofing materials, preparation work for installation of new roofing materials, and ensuring buildings are weather-tight.

Services include planning, supervision, material procurement, project documentation, labor management, site safety and quality control, utility inspections, and project close-out.

Roofing systems solutions may include:
- Built-Up Multi-layer (BUR)
- Single Ply Membranes
- Coatings for UV protection
- Modified Roofing Systems (Bitumen)
- Sprayed Polyurethane Foam
- Thermoplastics TPO
- Architectural Metal Panels
- Slate
- Shingle
- Clay Tile
- Green Roofing Systems (CRRC rated or Energy Star certified)
- Insulated Roofing Systems for temperature protection
- White or Light Color Roofing Materials for insulation.

The contractor's price must include all labor costs, equipment, materials, permits, overheads, and profit margins without markup on subcontractor quotes or permit fees.

Period of Performance
The contract term is three years with a total value not exceeding $12.5 million. Individual projects under this contract shall not exceed $4 million.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various APS locations across Albuquerque.
