Request for Proposals: Comprehensive Database Services for Global College Catalogs

Background
The University of New Mexico (UNM) is seeking to procure comprehensive database services through CollegeSource, Inc. This contract aims to provide access to the CollegeSource® database, which is the only comprehensive collection of college catalogs worldwide. It contains over 170,000 catalogs and more than 140 million course descriptions. The goal of this contract is to support the university's enrollment management and transfer evaluation processes, particularly for NCAA student athlete certification and other academic needs.

Work Details
The primary service to be provided under this contract is access to the CollegeSource® database and the Transfer Evaluation System (TES). The TES allows users to compare course catalogs from different institutions, track evaluations, manage equivalencies, and generate lists of potential course equivalencies. Specific functionalities include:
- Comparing any two catalogs from the same institution or different institutions.
- Providing detailed changes between catalog editions.
- Serving as a critical resource for lower-level articulations and upper-level transfer course evaluations.
- Supporting daily operations for various departments including Athletics and UNM Recruitment.
The total amount for this contract is $70,000 over a three-year period.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2024, and will continue until June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the University of New Mexico located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
