Background
San Juan County is seeking bids to establish a price agreement for bulk fuel purchases to supply high-quality fuel for its owned and operated vehicles and heavy equipment. The goal is to ensure timely delivery of fuel to various county locations, supporting the operational needs of the county's public works and facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide bulk fuel deliveries, including unleaded gasoline and diesel #2 (with winter-blend as required). Deliveries will be made within 2 business days during specified hours. Fuel will be unloaded into agency-owned tanks by the contractor.

Current field locations include:
- Public Works at 305 South Oliver Drive, Aztec, NM (2-1000 gallon unleaded tanks, 1-15,000 gallon clear diesel)
- McGee Park in Farmington (1-1000 gallon unleaded tank, 1-1000 gallon red dye diesel)
- Riverview Golf Course in Kirtland (1-500 gallon unleaded tank, 1-500 gallon red dye diesel).

The primary term of the agreement is from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with options for up to three one-year renewals. Pricing must be firm for the duration of the agreement without additional charges for delivery or handling.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and continue through June 30, 2027, with potential renewals extending up to four years.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will occur at various San Juan County locations including Aztec, Farmington, and Kirtland in New Mexico.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with applicable licensing statutes of New Mexico and provide proof of insurance coverage. They must also submit a valid copy of their In-State Resident Preference Certificate or Resident Veterans Preference Certificate if applicable. Bids must be submitted on unaltered forms provided by San Juan County and sealed appropriately.
