Background
The Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG) is seeking licensed and qualified Pest Control Service companies to submit bids for pest control services at MRCOG facilities, the Rio Metro Regional Transit District (RMRTD) facilities, and the Work Force Connections of Central New Mexico (WCCNM) facilities.
The goal of this contract is to ensure effective pest management across these locations to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Work Details
The contractor will provide pest control services that include:
1. Spraying the interior and exterior of facilities, including office spaces, basements, and trash dumpster areas for nuisance insects and rodents based on seasonal activity.
2. Baiting traps inside and outside all listed facilities for insects and rodents that are safe for use and disposing of them immediately.
3. Using appropriate insect sprays that are safe around personnel in office/industrial environments.
4. Having a certified/licensed applicator with experience on-site during each visit.
5. Providing proof of pest control certification and insurance at the time of quote submission.
6. Conducting interior and exterior services every two months in spring and summer, and once in winter or as needed.
7. The MRCOG reserves the right to add, change or delete facility locations as necessary.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon final signature and will last for four years unless terminated earlier under specified conditions.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations including:
- MRCOG Offices at 809 Copper Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM
- RMRTD Facility at 716 Commercial St SE
- Sandoval Bus Facility at 1804 Idalia Rd NE, Rio Rancho
- Valencia County Transit Facility at 3437 Lambros Loop SE, Los Lunas
- WCCNM America’s Job Centers located in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and Los Lunas.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed pest control service providers with valid certifications. They must provide proof of insurance upon submission of their bid.
Additionally, bidders must comply with affirmative action/equal employment opportunity requirements as detailed in Appendix 5, submit anti-lobbying certifications as per Appendix 3, debarment certifications as per Appendix 4, and campaign contribution disclosures as per Appendix 6.
