On-Call HVAC Installation and Maintenance

Background
The City of Santa Fe, through its Central Purchasing Division (CPD), is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for On-Call HVAC Installation and Maintenance services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the effective installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems at the Paseo Real Wastewater Reclamation Facility and other remote sites.

The City aims to maintain operational reliability and efficiency in its HVAC systems over a potential contract term of up to ten years.

Work Details
Contractor(s) will provide comprehensive services including:
1. Installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
2. Coordination and supervision for general construction projects related to HVAC systems.
3. Provision of new construction services including incidental design as required.
4. Emergency labor response within 24 hours as deemed necessary by the City.
5. All materials used must be new and meet 'Energy Star' standards; recycled materials may be used with approval.
6. The contractor must provide an itemized list of materials required for each project without adding markups on materials purchased for the work.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a term ranging from one (1) year to ten (10) years based on the City's needs, with annual renewals possible upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily at the Paseo Real Wastewater Reclamation Facility and various remote sites within the City of Santa Fe.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold a valid contractor's license issued by the Construction Industries Division (CID) for the type of work being performed. Additionally, contractors must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws including safety regulations and insurance requirements.
