Instructional Professional Development & Curriculum Support

Background
Gallup-McKinley County Schools (GMCS) is seeking proposals for a multi-year agreement to provide instructional professional development and curriculum support services district-wide for PreK-12.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the instructional capabilities of the district's staff through ongoing coaching, consultation, and training services.
GMCS serves approximately 10,000 students across 33 schools in a geographically large area that includes the Navajo Nation and Zuni Pueblo.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a range of services including coaching, consultation, professional development, and related support services for instructional staff across all grade levels.
Specific tasks include:
1. Instructing on best teaching practices and classroom management strategies while embedding technology solutions.
2. Supporting literacy, math, content areas (social studies, science), and socio-emotional wellbeing (SEL).
3. Job-embedded coaching in various subjects including ELA, math, science, social studies, ELL, Special Education, and more.
4. Assisting with curriculum design and planning aligned with district initiatives.
5. Providing training on Common Core Standards implementation and differentiated instruction techniques.
6. Collaborating with district administration to align services with long-term goals.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is set to last for one year until June 30, 2027.
There are options for four additional one-year renewals, potentially extending the total duration to June 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Gallup-McKinley County School District in New Mexico.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have relevant licenses or certifications related to educational services they provide.
They must also maintain adequate insurance coverage including general liability and worker’s compensation.
The contractor must comply with federal funding regulations as this procurement involves federal funds.
