Ice Arena Repair and Replacement Parts Supply

Background
The City of Santa Fe, New Mexico is issuing an emergency procurement for the repair and replacement of parts for the ice arena due to a serious threat to public health and safety caused by equipment failure.
The goal of this contract is to restore the ice rink's operational capabilities following a critical failure of its refrigeration system, which has been deemed unsafe for continued use.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of various components necessary for the repair of the ice rink's refrigeration system, including:
1. **Dehumidifier**: Supply of a new desiccant wheel, rollers, gasket, and sealants at an estimated cost of $68,807. This includes one Munters desiccant wheel, a new belt, set of rollers, gasket and sealant, supervision of labor only, freight, and inspection post-replacement.

2. **Cooling Towers**: Supply of two EVAPCO Cooling Towers at an estimated cost of $126,438. This includes two BAC Model VTO-116-M cooling towers with supervision of labor only and freight. Modifications to piping will be required to adapt to the new cooling towers.

3. **Plate & Frame Heat Exchangers**: Supply of new cassettes/gaskets at an estimated cost of $24,495. This includes disassembly and cleaning of plate & frames with supervision only.

4. **Condenser Gaskets**: Supply for gaskets for two standard condensers and two HT condensers at an estimated cost of $2,358 with supervision only.

Period of Performance
The estimated duration for completion of the work is 8-10 weeks from the date of order.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center Ice Rink located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Bidder Requirements
The vendor must be Arena Products and Services as they are uniquely qualified to provide all necessary parts and services required for this emergency repair due to their industry knowledge and expertise.
