Grant County Road Maintenance and Construction

Background
Grant County, on behalf of the Road Department, is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide all necessary materials, labor, machinery, equipment, and tools for miscellaneous construction projects throughout Grant County. This initiative aims to maintain and improve road infrastructure in accordance with State Statute 13-1-63, which allows for indefinite quantity price agreements. The goal is to ensure that awarded contractors can furnish an indeterminate quantity of specified services or items at a definite unit price or specified discount from list prices.

Work Details
The awarded contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for various construction projects as detailed in the Unit Price Sheet. This includes but is not limited to:
- Clearing and grubbing
- Unclassified excavation (various quantities)
- Borrow pit run (various quantities)
- Subgrade preparation (various square yardages)

The contractor must also provide signage and barricades as required by DOT and Grant County regulations without additional payment. All work must comply with minimum wage rates where applicable.

Period of Performance
The contract will have an initial term of one year, with the possibility of up to four additional one-year renewals based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed throughout Grant County, New Mexico.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must be registered with the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions and maintain that registration throughout the contract term. They must also comply with all applicable laws regarding prevailing wages and safety regulations. Additionally, Offerors must submit a valid preference certificate if claiming resident or veteran business status.
