ERP and SIS Implementation and Services Awarded to Workday

Background
The Collaborative for Higher Education Shared Services (CHESS) is a non-profit corporation in New Mexico that provides services to educational institutions. CHESS includes six independent public community colleges in New Mexico: Central New Mexico Community College (CNM), Clovis Community College, Luna Community College, Northern New Mexico College, San Juan College, and Santa Fe Community College.

The goal of this contract is to implement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Student Information Systems (SIS) through Workday, which was selected as the best vendor following a competitive Request for Production process (RFP #P-430). These systems are essential for the Colleges' operations in finance, human resources, payroll, and student information management.

Work Details
The contract involves the implementation of ERP and SIS services provided by Workday. Specific services include support for finance, human resources, payroll, admissions & recruiting, financial aid, records management, curriculum & advising, student financial transactions, and non-credit training.

The total cost of the contract is $16 million over a term of 2 years and 3 months. CHESS will coordinate the shared cost model among the Colleges to facilitate these services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 2 years and 3 months, ending at the conclusion of FY2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed across multiple locations in New Mexico where the participating colleges are located.

Bidder Requirements
CHESS is designated as the sole source provider due to its unique contractual relationship with Workday and its ability to provide comprehensive ERP and SIS services tailored to the needs of CNM and other Colleges. No other vendor can meet these specific requirements in a timely manner.
