Educational Support Services for Student Enhancement in Albuquerque Schools

Background
The New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) is seeking to provide educational support services to the Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) to enhance student learning and ensure that students receive supplemental educational support.

The goal of this contract is to address the educational needs of certain categories of students within the largest school district in New Mexico, which serves over seventy thousand students.

Work Details
The contractor, NOLA Education LLC, will provide a comprehensive suite of services including:

1. Turnkey academy setup for APS students, including furniture, equipment, and infrastructure for four classroom settings.
2. Development and delivery of a research and development extension lab curriculum along with professional development workshops through a curriculum software license.
3. Provision of custom workstations, configurable desks, collaboration tables, partitions, storage cabinets, and seating for four core classrooms plus one research and development classroom.
4. Supply of all necessary project equipment, materials, and consumables.
5. Selection of additional equipment during the curriculum design phase as needed for project modules.
6. Onsite, virtual, and phone support including monthly onsite visits and ongoing professional development tailored to staff changes throughout the contract duration.
7. Custom learning management software for administrators, teachers, and students with all software upgrades included.
8. Provision of workstation computers and technical support equipment necessary for effective operation.
9. Complete renovation of learning environments with new furniture in all core classrooms including student desks and chairs as well as teacher desks and chairs.
10. Provision of desktops for math and science classrooms along with hot spares; Chromebooks for English Language Arts and social studies classrooms; additional Chromebooks for academy use; administration of the Learning Management System; continual professional development for staff; customized curriculum design aligned with New Mexico State Standards across various subjects; onsite visitation from an education support specialist providing ongoing support; complete turnkey service including delivery and installation coordination.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over a period of three years from the date of execution.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within Albuquerque Public Schools.
