Description

Drilling, well construction, completion, and development for 2 wells in the Tijeras Canyon/Carnuel area of Bernalillo County, northeast of the Coyote Springs Bridge (see location map in Section 11). The monitoring well will be used for long-term water level monitoring and water quality sampling. Surface water and groundwater in the area has been found to be elevated in nitrates.
Background
The Bernalillo County Purchasing Section of the Procurement and Business Services Department is soliciting bids for construction services related to the Carnuel Non-Point Source Emerging Contaminants Study. This project aims to address elevated nitrate levels found in surface water and groundwater in the Tijeras Canyon/Carnuel area of Bernalillo County, specifically northeast of the Coyote Springs Bridge.
