Actuarial and Benefits Consulting

Background
The Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) is seeking proposals for Actuarial and Benefits Consulting Services to support their mission of providing quality education and services to students. The goal of this contract is to engage a qualified firm or firms that can deliver expert consulting services in the areas of actuarial analysis and employee benefits management.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive actuarial and benefits consulting services, which may include but are not limited to:
- Conducting actuarial valuations and analyses related to employee benefits programs.
- Assisting in the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefit plans.
- Providing guidance on compliance with federal and state regulations affecting employee benefits.
- Offering strategic advice on cost management and funding strategies for benefit plans.
- Analyzing data related to claims experience, demographics, and other relevant factors to inform decision-making.
- Preparing reports and presentations for APS leadership regarding findings and recommendations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a term of four (4) years, commencing upon award.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily at the Albuquerque Public Schools district offices located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
