T0374 - Bar Soap, Facial and Body, Individually Wrapped or Boxed for DSS

Background
This Bid Solicitation is issued by the State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Purchase and Property, on behalf of Distribution and Support Services. The purpose is to solicit Quotes for individually wrapped or boxed facial and body bar soap. This is a reprocurement of the product under T0374 Bar Soap, Individually Wrapped for Distribution and Support Services. The previous contract was established in November 2019 for similar products.

Work Details
The contract involves providing Bar Soap, Facial and Body, Individually Wrapped or Boxed. The soap must be packed in cases of either 72 count or 144 count, with each bar weighing between 2.75 ounces and 3.75 ounces. The soap must not contain antibacterial chemical ingredients as per FDA regulations.

The product specifications include:
- Ingredient categories: Surfactant (for skin care), Thickeners, Stabilizer, Preservative/Shelf Life enhancer, Texturizer, Moisturizer; Fragrance; Color Agent(s).
- Packaging must conform to FDA standards under Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Delivery requirements specify that deliveries must be made directly to Distribution and Support Services at specified times and conditions.

Period of Performance
The base term of this Contract shall be for a period of three (3) years, with an anticipated effective date provided on the Bid Solicitation summary page.
