T0109 - Radio Communication Equipment and Accessories

Background
The State of New Jersey Office of Information Technology (OIT) is responsible for administering the State’s telecommunications services to ensure efficiency and economy. This Bid Solicitation aims to procure new radio communication equipment and systems, as well as upgrades and maintenance for existing systems. The contract will support public safety and the operational needs of various State agencies that rely on radio communications. The solicitation is a reprocurement of equipment and accessories under T0109, with an emphasis on ensuring that the State's current requirements are met.

Work Details
The contractor will provide various categories of radio communication equipment including:

1. Radio Base Station Control Equipment & Accessories
2. Portable Radio Equipment & Accessories
3. Mobile (Vehicular) Radio Equipment & Accessories
4. Aircraft AM & FM Band Radios & Accessories
5. Marine AM & FM Band Radio and Accessories
6. Amateur Radio Communications Equipment & Accessories
7. Gateway Devices for interoperability
8. Antennas - Mobile, Portable, and Base Station
9. Microwave Equipment, Radio and Antenna & Accessories
10. Radio Communications Network support equipment
11. Antenna systems for enhanced in-building coverage
12. Short-range point-to-point/multipoint communications equipment
13. Test Equipment for installed radio systems
14. Batteries and chargers
15. Consoles including operator furniture
16. Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
17. 9-1-1 Call Answering Equipment, Instant Playback Recorder, Logging Recorder.

The contractor is also responsible for installation, programming, maintenance, training, warranty services, and compliance with FCC regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract period is expected to commence upon award and will continue until all obligations are fulfilled or until terminated by either party in accordance with the terms outlined in the solicitation.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed throughout the State of New Jersey at various locations as designated by the Using Agency.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered as a qualified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) or Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (DVOB) to qualify for set-aside contracts under this solicitation. Bidders must also hold a valid Business Registration Certificate issued by the Department of the Treasury prior to contract award.
