Background
The City of Summit Police Department is seeking proposals for Information Technology Services to enhance their operational capabilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure the provision of comprehensive IT support services that align with the department's needs as they transition into 2026. The contract is intended to begin on or about February 1, 2026.
Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Managed Services of Equipment and Applications Support, which includes support for Virtual Hosts, Servers, UPS, Security, Microsoft 365 Government Email, Backup solutions, LAN Switches, Workstations, and Police MDTs. This support encompasses onsite, phone, remote, and email support; 24/7 emergency support; real-time remote monitoring; patch management; proactive maintenance; anti-virus and anti-malware protection management; monthly reporting; consulting services; and cyber security awareness training for employees.
2. An annual subscription for offsite backup including full server images.
3. An annual subscription for Duo Security.
4. An annual subscription for SonicWall Advanced Protection Service Suite for SonicWall TZ570 (1 License for a term from February 6, 2026 to February 6, 2027).
5. An annual subscription for Malwarebytes Detection and Response (32 Workstation licenses and 4 Server licenses).
6. An annual subscription for Microsoft 365 Government services (including Exchange Online Plan2 and Office 365 G3 GCC).
7. Annual subscriptions for Adobe Acrobat Standard for five users.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on or about February 1, 2026 and will be awarded for a one-year term with the possibility of up to four one-year extensions.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the City of Summit Police Department located at 512 Springfield Avenue, Summit NJ.

Vendors must comply with various legal requirements including N.J.S.A. Pay-to-Play regulations; Affirmative Action laws; Americans with Disabilities Act compliance; Business Registration requirements; and must meet specific insurance coverage criteria including General Liability Insurance with specified limits and additional insured endorsements.
