Background
The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) is seeking proposals for professional consulting services in Occupational Health, Drug, and Alcohol Testing Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all Authority employees meet the medical requirements set forth by OSHA and other relevant state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Transportation and its associated regulations.
Work Details
The selected Medical Provider will be responsible for providing on-site and off-site health screenings, medical surveillance, annual respiratory medical requirements, and comprehensive drug and alcohol testing services. This includes random drug/alcohol tests, post-accident tests, pre-employment tests, reasonable suspicion tests, and follow-up testing under the DOT/CDL Program.
All testing procedures must comply with the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA). The Medical Provider must have experience with Occupational Health and Laboratory Facilities.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for a duration that aligns with the needs of the Authority as specified in the proposal.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations as required by the Delaware River Port Authority.
Bidder Requirements
Firms must be registered on the SAP Ariba Network to participate in this RFP. They must also have completed the Authority's supplier registration questionnaire. Proposals will only be accepted from firms that have obtained RFP documents directly from the Authority.
