Provide And Install Replacement Doors And Frames At Various Pvsc Facilities On An As Needed Basis For A Two (2) Year Period

Background
The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (PVSC) is responsible for protecting public health and the environment. This contract, identified as Contract No. B495, aims to provide and install replacement doors and frames at various PVSC facilities on an as-needed basis over a two-year period, starting from March 2026.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish all safety, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, equipment, and other facilities required to remove and replace existing steel doors and frames with fiberglass reinforced polyester doors and frames. The work includes:
- Removal of existing doors and frames made of steel or other materials as directed by the engineer/owner.
- Installation of new fiberglass reinforced polyester doors and frames along with any related ancillary parts or materials.
- The work is indeterminate with no fixed contract amount; individual task orders will be issued based on a detailed scope of work agreed upon by both parties. Each task order will establish a 'Not to Exceed' cost limit based on labor rates provided in Section 00400.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a two-year period starting from March 2026.

Place of Performance
Various facilities operated by the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission located in Newark, New Jersey.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have experience in similar work within sewerage treatment plants or pump stations. They must submit proof of business registration in New Jersey, provide a bid bond or certified check of $1,000 or 10% of the total bid (not exceeding $20,000), and complete a Statement of Ownership form. Additionally, bidders must comply with affirmative action requirements and submit necessary documentation prior to contract execution.
