Police Department Personnel Uniforms

Background
The Township of Wayne, New Jersey, is seeking bids for the provision of uniforms for its Police Department personnel, which includes Police Officers, Special Police, and Dispatchers. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all personnel are equipped with appropriate uniforms to effectively perform their duties in serving the community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing uniforms for the Police Department personnel. This includes specific requirements outlined in the technical specifications section of the solicitation. Period of Performance
The contract will commence no later than 21 days from the date of award and will last for a period of up to two years. The Township may extend this contract for two additional one-year periods if mutually agreed upon.

The uniforms are to be delivered to the Township of Wayne located at 475 Valley Road, Wayne NJ 07470.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a registered Business Registration Certificate (BRC) with the State of New Jersey prior to contract award. They must also comply with New Jersey Law Against Discrimination and submit an Ownership Disclosure Certification listing any owners holding 10% or more interest in their business. Additionally, bidders must adhere to affirmative action provisions as per N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.
