Plantwide Industrial And Architectural Painting On An As Needed Basis For A Two (2) Year Period

Background
The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (PVSC) is issuing Contract No. B460 for plantwide industrial and architectural painting services on an as-needed basis for a two-year period. The mission of the PVSC is to protect public health and the environment through effective wastewater management. This contract aims to ensure proper surface preparation and application of painting systems for various infrastructure items, equipment, and buildings within the PVSC facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary safety measures, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and supplies for the following tasks:

1. Surface preparation and application of industrial painting systems on structural steel, rake arm assemblies, influent wells, center columns, hangers, substations, and other metal/concrete structures throughout the PVSC facility.

2. Architectural painting projects including repainting office areas such as walls, ceilings, hallways, doors, windows, stairwells, etc.

The work will be performed on a time and material basis according to manufacturer recommendations and instructions from the owner/engineer. Individual task orders will be issued based on detailed scopes of work with no fixed contract amount.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for a two-year period starting from the Notice to Proceed date.

Place of Performance
All work will be conducted at the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission facilities located at 600 Wilson Avenue, Newark, New Jersey.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have experience in industrial and architectural painting in sewerage treatment plants or similar facilities. They are required to submit proof of business registration in New Jersey and provide documentation of affirmative action compliance prior to contract award.

Bidders must also submit a bid bond or certified check of $1,000 or 10% of the total bid amount (not exceeding $20,000). Additionally, bidders must certify non-involvement in prohibited activities in Iran or Belarus.
