Plant Material - Catalog - RE-BID

Background
The County of Bergen, NJ, aims to establish a twenty-four (24) month contract with multiple catalog vendors for the provision of plant materials. This initiative is driven by the need to meet various requirements of different using agencies within the county. It is anticipated that no single vendor can fulfill all needs in terms of type and quantity. The county does not guarantee any minimum purchase with any vendor under this contract.

Work Details
The contract will cover the supply of plant materials including, but not limited to, trees, bushes, shrubs, perennial and annual flowers. Vendors are encouraged to submit partial bids and provide additional products and services beyond the requested price sheets. Each vendor must upload a price sheet or provide a link to their pricing catalog. The prices offered must be in the form of a percentage decrease from the lowest price listed in their catalog. Vendors must also honor any price changes with at least ten (10) working days' notice prior to implementation. There are no minimum order requirements or shipping charges; vendors will be compensated at the catalog price less any discounts for each item purchased.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for a period of twenty-four (24) months.

Place of Performance
The performance will take place within Bergen County, NJ, where various using agencies may order materials directly from the vendor as required.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17-27 et seq. Additionally, vendors must be official distributors for any catalogs they offer and provide documentation to that effect. The county will not accept catalogs where distributorship rights belong to a third party.
