The Passaic County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to enter into a contract for medical billing and collection services for its Emergency Medical Services (EMS), specifically for Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance services.

- Mileage: $25.00 per mile
- Pronouncement: $1,050.00
- C-Collar: $45.00
- Oxygen: $65.00
- Narcan: $100.00
- EpiPen: $200.00
4. The contractor must ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and provide necessary telecommunications equipment and software for efficient service delivery.
5. All payments collected will remain the property of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office.
Period of Performance
The contract period is from May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027, with two one-year options to renew.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office located at 495 River Street, Paterson, New Jersey.
Bidder Requirements
Respondents must have a minimum of five years of experience in ambulance billing and collection services and currently provide such services to at least three New Jersey municipalities with gross annual billings exceeding $1 million.
