Notice to Bidders - East Freehold Road Improvement

Background
The Township of Freehold, located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, is issuing a contract for the East Freehold Road Improvements project. The goal of this project is to enhance road safety and accessibility through various construction activities.

The improvements are part of the township's ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade public infrastructure.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete curb sections.
- Replacement of damaged concrete sidewalk sections.
- Installation of new concrete sidewalks in areas lacking them.
- Installation of ADA accessible curb ramps.
- Upgrading existing ADA curb ramps to meet current standards.
- Cleaning and/or repairing existing drainage inlets.
- Installation of circular rapid flashing beacons and associated pedestrian crossings.
- Milling the existing pavement surface.
- Performing base course repairs as needed based on visual inspection of the milled surface.
- Applying a 2-inch pavement course overlay.
- Striping the roadway.
- Any other necessary work related to the project.

Period of Performance
All work under this contract must be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations along East Freehold Road in Freehold Township, New Jersey.
