Notice Of Intent To Award Contract Under A National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement

Work Requested:
The Bergen County Utilities Authority is seeking to procure general laboratory supplies, equipment, and distribution services. This will be accomplished through participation in the OMNIA Partners Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, specifically under Contract Number 2021002889. The total amount for this contract will not exceed $200,000.00.

Who is Requesting:
This solicitation is issued by the Bergen County Utilities Authority.

Background:
The Authority intends to join the OMNIA Partners Cooperative contract for General Lab Supplies, Equipment & Distribution Services. The anticipated date for joining is February 27, 2026. The OMNIA Partners Cooperative contract is effective from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2029, with the Bergen County Utilities Authority's specific contract period running from February 27, 2026 to February 26, 2027.

Contract Requirements:

• The contract will be awarded to Fisher Scientific Company, LLC, based on their proposal submitted in response to the OMNIA Partners Cooperative Request for Proposals.
• The Bergen County Utilities Authority is authorized to participate in national cooperative purchasing agreements under N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3).
