- 70 State Bridges
Inspections will include various types such as initial, routine, underwater, special/interim, in-depth, damage assessments, and scour monitoring. The consultant must adhere to the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and submit detailed reports including findings on structural conditions and recommendations for repairs or maintenance. Specific tasks include verifying inventory data for bridges, conducting thorough assessments using prescribed inspection techniques, reporting critical findings immediately to relevant authorities, and preparing comprehensive bridge survey reports.
Period of Performance
The contract period will extend from March 16, 2025 to April 7, 2026.

Inspections will take place across various counties in New Jersey including Camden County, Essex County, Hudson County, Mercer County, and others as specified in the solicitation.
Bidder Requirements
Firms must be prequalified with NJDOT in the I-1 discipline at Level A by the closing date of this solicitation. Sub-consultants must also be cost basis approved by NJDOT. Firms intending to submit a Joint Venture must complete a Statement of Joint Venture form as part of their submission. Additionally, all bidders must provide a Business Registration Certificate (BRC) prior to contract award.
