Electrical Supplies & Equipment Coop

Background
The County of Bergen is seeking to establish a contract for Electrical Supplies and Equipment to support various County agencies and NJ Purchasing Alliance Cooperative Members. The goal is to ensure that multiple vendors can meet the diverse needs of these agencies, as it is anticipated that no single vendor can fulfill all requirements in terms of type and quantity.

The initial contract will be for twenty-four (24) months with two (2) optional twelve (12) month renewals.

Work Details
The contract involves providing Electrical Supplies and Equipment, which must be detailed in catalogs or product lines that clearly identify product names, specifications, packaging information, and prices. Vendors are required to submit current catalogs including price sheets with their bids. Prices must be offered as a percentage discount from the lowest catalog price, including any applicable quantity discounts.

Vendors must honor price increases from newly published catalogs but cannot change the percentage discounts during the contract's duration. Deliveries are expected within four (4) hours for emergencies and within twenty-four (24) hours for non-emergencies, with options for agencies to pick up orders from distribution centers.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period is twenty-four (24) months, starting on or about the date of award by the Board of Bergen County Commissioners, with two optional twelve (12) month renewal periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within Bergen County, New Jersey.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with local regulations regarding business certifications such as Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE), and Small Business Enterprise (SBE). They must also complete a certification regarding non-involvement in prohibited activities in Russia or Belarus as per N.J.S.A. 52:32-60.1.
