The project involves the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at Liberty State Park, located in Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ. The contract is issued by the Division of Property Management & Construction under the State of New Jersey's Department of the Treasury. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing a single bid (lump sum) for all trades involved in the project. The work includes general construction and electrical services necessary for the installation of electric vehicle charging stations. Bidders must be classified with DPMC in one of the following trades: General Construction (C008), General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009), or Electrical (C047). The estimated cost of construction is $2,190,595. Bidders must also list all required DPMC Classified subcontractors; failure to do so will render the bid non-responsive.

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to follow a schedule that aligns with project completion timelines as determined post-bid opening.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for October 17, 2025. Only bids submitted by contractors who attend this meeting will be accepted. Bidders must be classified with DPMC and submit bid security as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with minority and female percentage goal requirements: 60% minority participation and 6.9% female participation per skilled craft.
