Demolition Services for Multiple Structures at Former Arthur Brisbane Child Treatment Center in Wall Township, NJ

Background
The contract is issued by the State of New Jersey's Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) for the demolition of multiple structures at the Former Arthur Brisbane Child Treatment Center located in Wall Township, Monmouth County, NJ.
The project aims to safely and effectively demolish the Turrell Building, Allaire House, and Sewage Plant as part of the State's initiative to manage and repurpose state-owned properties.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following services:
1. Demolition of the Turrell Building, Allaire House, and Sewage Plant.
2. Compliance with all applicable regulations regarding demolition, including environmental considerations such as asbestos abatement and lead in construction.
3. Provision of temporary construction utilities as needed during the demolition process.
4. Execution of excavation, backfilling, compaction, and grading as required post-demolition.
5. Implementation of erosion and sedimentation controls during demolition activities to prevent environmental impact.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and must be completed within a specified number of calendar days as outlined in the contract documents.

Demolition services will be performed at 4240 Atlantic Ave, Wall Township, NJ 07727.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be classified by DPMC according to NJSA 52:35-1 et seq., and must perform a minimum of 35% of the contract work with their own forces unless otherwise approved by the Director.
Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond for at least 50% of their total bid amount, along with proof of registration with the Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue.
