Background
The City of Trenton, New Jersey, through its Department of Administration, is seeking sealed bids for Centrex Telephone Services. This solicitation is a re-advertisement for the provision of non-Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone services through Centrex or equivalent service for various City buildings and locations. The contract aims to ensure reliable telecommunications support for the City’s operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Centrex telephone services for a total of 580 lines across multiple locations in Trenton. The specifications include:

1. Extensive local support through an assigned account manager.
2. Three or more central/remote offices near Trenton.
3. A self-service portal for billing and feature changes.
4. Provision of Centrex lines (analog lines with PBX features).
5. Ground start trunks and extended local calling areas including Trenton, Lawrenceville, Hamilton, Ewing, Bordentown, Morrisville (PA), and Yardley (PA).
6. Contiguous blocks of phone numbers and foreign exchange circuits.
7. Porting of existing numbers and service compatibility with rotary and tone dialing equipment.
8. Provision of T1 lines and paper billing via USPS.
9. Coordination with Broadview as the long-distance carrier.
10. Various calling features including call forwarding, call waiting, automatic callback, consultation hold & add-on conferencing.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of one (1) year from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Services will be provided at various locations within the City of Trenton, New Jersey.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with several mandatory requirements including:

- Affirmative Action Statement
- Evidence EEO/Affirmative Action Regulations Questionnaire
- Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act
- Business Registration Certificate prior to contract award
