Background
The County of Ocean is seeking a contractor to supply antifreeze, oils, and lubricants for its equipment. The county recognizes the need for quality lubricants to ensure against premature wear and failure of its equipment. The County reserves the right to purchase any items on this bid from the New Jersey State Contract if it is in the best interest of the County to do so.
Work Details
The contractor is required to supply quality branded automotive lubricants including engine oils, gear oils, greases, automatic/hydraulic transmission fluids, and hydraulic oils for use in the County’s diverse fleet of on and off-road vehicles. The bidder must provide complete commercially printed brand manufacturer’s product data/specification sheet(s) for each product bid.
The products offered under contracts resulting from this bid must meet OEM specifications. The bidder must be an authorized dealer of the brand manufacturer and provide independent lab test reports to demonstrate that products meet the bid specifications.
Period of Performance
The contract requires all deliveries to be made within 48 hours after receipt of order (A.R.O.). For Vehicle Services, deliveries are to be made between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
Place of Performance
Deliveries shall be made to various locations including Vehicles Services Department in Toms River, Manahawkin Vehicle Services Garage, Transportation Services Garage in Manchester NJ, and Solid Waste Management Department in Toms River, NJ.
