2026 Food And Beverage Concession Services At Paramus Municipal Pool

Background
The Borough of Paramus, located in Bergen County, New Jersey, is seeking proposals for the operation of food and beverage concession services at the Paramus Municipal Pool. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality food and beverage options to pool members and their guests during the 2026 season, which runs from May 23, 2026, through Labor Day. This initiative aligns with the Borough's commitment to enhancing community recreation and leisure activities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for operating an over-the-counter food and beverage concession at the Paramus Municipal Pool. Services include:
- Providing a variety of food and beverages as outlined in the required concession menu (Schedule A) and proposed additional menu (Schedule B).
- Ensuring that all products meet health and safety standards as mandated by local regulations.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the concession area throughout operational hours.
- Operating during specified hours: weekends from 11 AM to 8 PM, weekdays from 12 PM to 8 PM, with extended hours for special events.
- Conducting customer service surveys as required by the Borough.
- Submitting a security fee of $500 for performance assurance.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on May 23, 2026, and continue through Labor Day of the same year.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Paramus Municipal Pool located at 1 Van Binsberger Boulevard, Paramus NJ 07652.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. regarding equal employment opportunity and P.L. 2004 c.57 Business Registration Act. They must also provide proof of necessary licenses by May 8, 2026, and demonstrate experience in operating a seasonal concession facility or a year-round food service business.
