Uninterruptible Power Supply Replacement

Background
The City of Nashua, NH, is seeking proposals from qualified respondents to design, implement, secure, and support two Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. This initiative aims to enhance the reliability and operational efficiency of the City’s Radio System network infrastructure. The project involves replacing existing UPS systems at the Nashua Police Department and Nashua Fire Department Radio Communications Facilities.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Replacement of one 18 KVA UPS at the Nashua Police Department located at 28 Officer James Roche Drive, Nashua, NH, including wiring three additional electrical connections into the new UPS.
- Replacement of one 12 KVA UPS at the Nashua Fire Department located at 38 Lake Street, Nashua, NH, along with rewiring additional electrical connections into the new UPS.
- The new UPS systems must provide a minimum of 4 hours of power backup using 10+ year no maintenance batteries.
- Removal and proper disposal of all old UPS systems is required.
- Installation must ensure minimal downtime and may require temporary UPS systems during cutover.
- A five-year preventive maintenance and support contract must be included along with comprehensive training for operational staff.

Expected outcomes include fully functional UPS systems that are scalable and equipped with advanced monitoring capabilities.
