Snow Removal

Background
The State of New Hampshire has issued a bid invitation for Snow Removal Services. The purpose of this bid invitation is to establish a contract for snow removal services to the State of New Hampshire with services indicated within the scope of services and offer sections of this bid invitation, in accordance with the requirements of this bid invitation and any resulting contract.

Work Details
The scope of service includes the removal of snow, slush buildup, and icing at all locations State of New Hampshire contracted agencies require serviced. The Vendor shall supply all labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment, and permits as necessary and required to perform services. The services include plowing and removal operations upon accumulation of two inches of snow or more, salting and sanding when conditions warrant, and removal of snowbanks impairing vision of vehicles and pedestrians entering and exiting the locations.
Additionally, the Vendor is responsible for clearing walkways and sidewalks, ensuring safe entering and exiting, removing snow from areas connecting roadways to parking lots or spaces left by plow trucks, and providing rooftop snow removal services upon request by the Property Contact. The Vendor shall also maintain locations with the goal of obtaining bare and dry pavement.

Period of Performance
The term of the contract shall commence on October 1, 2024, or upon execution by the Commissioner of the Department of Administrative Services or Governor and Executive Council, whichever is later. The contract may be extended for up to an additional two years thereafter under the same terms, conditions, and pricing structure upon mutual agreement between the successful Vendor and the State with the approval of the Commissioner of the Department of Administrative Services or Governor and Executive Council.
