Roadway Rehabilitation and Paving Services Bid Proposal Solicitation

Background
The Town of Hampton, through its Town Manager for the Department of Public Works (DPW), is seeking sealed written bid proposals from qualified contractors for roadway rehabilitation and paving services. This initiative aims to enhance the town's infrastructure by performing essential roadway work, including cold planing, shim coats, overlays, full depth reclamation, and paving of various roadways as detailed in the solicitation.

Work Details
The contract includes the following services:
1. Cold planing sections of roadways;
2. Application of shim coats and overlays;
3. Full depth reclamation and paving of roadways;
4. Erosion control measures.

Specific locations for work include Lafayette Road, Island Path, Glade Path, Johnson Avenue, and Riverview Avenue with detailed specifications provided in Attachment A. The contractor must furnish all personnel, labor, materials, equipment, and means necessary for the completion of these tasks in compliance with NHDOT Standard Specifications.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is expected to be completed by October 17, 2025, with a preferred completion date prior to the summer season. Work is not permitted on weekends or holidays.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in various locations throughout the Town of Hampton, New Hampshire.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid price. The contractor must have experience working with municipalities and provide references for comparable services. Additionally, contractors are required to carry general liability insurance with specified limits and name the Town as an additional insured.
