Replacing 33 VAV boxes at the Belknap County Nursing Homer

Background
Belknap County is seeking bids from qualified vendors capable of replacing 33 Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes at the Belknap County Nursing Home located in Laconia, New Hampshire. The project involves the complete removal of the existing system and the installation of new VAV boxes, including associated repairs and modifications to ceiling tiles, grids, drywall, and finishes. The project is contingent on the passage and funding of the 2024 budget by the Belknap County Commissioners or Belknap County Delegation.

Work Details
The bidding vendor is responsible for the complete removal of the existing VAV boxes and verifying all existing conditions. Each VAV box to be replaced shall be field verified and measured in each location.
Any modifications needed to ceiling tiles, ceiling grids, drywall, and associated finishes are expected to be repaired and left in new condition.
VAV boxes should be replaced in kind with all associated re-heat coils.
Zone valves will be supplied by the controls contractor and installed by the mechanical contractor.

Period of Performance
The work is anticipated to commence in the beginning of April, with a formal award contingent on the passage and funding of the 2024 budget by the Belknap County Commissioners or Belknap County Delegation.
