Log Length Firewood

Background
The New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services, through its Division of Procurement and Support Services, is issuing a Request for Bid (RFB) for log length firewood. The purpose of this bid invitation is to establish a contract in the form of purchase orders to supply the State of New Hampshire with log length firewood, essential for various state operations.

Work Details
The contract requires the successful vendor to supply 360 units of log length firewood, specifically green hardwood logs that are 22 inches long and have a minimum diameter of 8 inches. No poplar wood will be accepted. All logs must be harvested within New Hampshire and cannot cross state borders unless accompanied by a State Quarantine Compliance Agreement.

Deliveries should be made in any quantity at the vendor's discretion, with a minimum monthly delivery requirement of 24 cumulative cords. Vendors must also provide material safety data sheets with deliveries as required by RSA 277-A, the 'Worker’s Right to Know Act.'

Period of Performance
The first monthly delivery is expected within 30 days after receipt of the Purchase Order, with subsequent deliveries scheduled as available. The contract will remain effective until all items have been delivered and accepted.

Place of Performance
Deliveries are to be made to the NH State Prison Warehouse located at 312 North State St., Concord, NH 03301.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must be duly registered to conduct business in New Hampshire and complete a Vendor Application Package prior to bid award. The successful vendor must warranty all supplied items for at least one year or the manufacturer's standard period, whichever is greater. Additionally, vendors must comply with all relevant state laws and regulations.
