Lease to Own Color Multifunction Printer

Background
The State of New Hampshire, through the Bureau of Graphic Services, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to procure a color multifunction printer on a lease-to-own basis. The NH Department of Employment Security (NHES) administers unemployment benefits and oversees programs assisting individuals in finding employment. This procurement aims to enhance NHES's operational capabilities by acquiring a high-performance printer with full-service maintenance for five years.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a color multifunction printer that meets the following specifications:

1) The device must be sheetfed, capable of digitally scanning, copying, and printing with toner-based electrophotography.

2) It should print and photocopy at a speed of 60 pages per minute or faster on 8-1/2” x 11” paper, with a duty cycle of at least 500,000 pages per month.

3) The printer must support recycled paper with at least 30% postconsumer waste content.

4) All components must be brand new and not discontinued models.

5) It should operate on a 220 volt electrical supply and comply with Energy Star or RoHS standards.

Technology requirements include at least 12 GB of RAM and a minimum 1 TB hard disk drive. The device must accommodate various network connections and support multiple operating systems including Windows 10 and Windows Server versions. Additionally, it should have an integral scanner capable of duplex scanning, automatic document feeding, and various imposition formats. The vendor is responsible for delivery, installation, training for up to three operators, and providing qualified full-service maintenance for five years.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon the signed-off date of installation acceptance and will last for five years.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must submit proposals that comply fully with the specifications outlined in the RFP. They are required to have a completed Vendor Application Package on file with the NH Bureau of Purchase and Property to be eligible for contract award.
