The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, Division for Behavioral Health, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to establish and implement process improvement projects aimed at enhancing care for individuals experiencing substance use-related concerns within hospital systems. Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for:
1) Establishing and implementing process improvement projects across hospital systems, including emergency departments and outpatient practices;
2) Engaging with at least six hospitals or hospital systems statewide;
3) Developing a detailed workplan that includes recruitment strategies, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics;
4) Providing ongoing resources, training, and technical assistance;
5) Monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements;
6) Utilizing universal screening tools to identify individuals with substance use disorders;
7) Conducting brief interventions aimed at initiating change in problematic health behaviors.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon approval by the Governor and Executive Council and is expected to end on June 30, 2027. There are options for renewal for up to two additional years.

Services will be performed within the state of New Hampshire at various hospital systems as specified in the proposals.
