CONTRACT: Snow Plowing and Removal Services

Background
The New Hampshire Department of Administrative Services is seeking to establish a contract for Snow Plowing and Removal Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure safe and accessible facilities during winter weather conditions by providing timely snow removal services across various state locations.

Work Details
The vendor will supply all labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment, and permits necessary for snow plowing and removal services. Specific tasks include:

- Removing snow, slush buildup, and ice from entrance roadways, parking lots, and other specified areas.
- Salting and sanding as needed.
- Ensuring all areas are properly staked before the snow season.
- Initiating plowing operations upon accumulation of two inches of snow.
- Maintaining clear access to emergency vehicles.
- Ensuring bare pavement after storms.
- Clearing walkways and sidewalks without damaging surrounding structures.
- Managing snow storage responsibly.
- Responding to requests for roof clearing services as necessary.

The vendor must also report any damages or hazardous incidents promptly.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon approval by the Governor and Executive Council or the Commissioner of the Department of Administrative Services and will run through July 31, 2027. There is an option to extend the contract for an additional two years under the same terms upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various state facilities across New Hampshire as specified in the bid invitation.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be duly registered to conduct business in New Hampshire and have a completed Vendor Application Package on file with the NH Bureau of Purchase and Property. Corporations or limited liability companies must be registered with the NH Secretary of State. Vendors must provide proof of comprehensive general liability insurance coverage prior to performing any services.
