Transmission Line Construction

Background
Lincoln Electric System (LES) is seeking bids for the construction of a transmission line as per their specifications. The goal of this contract is to ensure the successful completion of the transmission line project, which is essential for supporting the agency's mission to provide reliable electric service.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, supervision, and equipment necessary for the construction of the transmission line according to LES Specifications T-26-04. The successful bidder must complete the LES Standard Construction Contract, provide proof of insurance with specified coverage, furnish a performance and labor and material payment bond from a licensed surety in Nebraska, and submit a completed Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form.

Period of Performance
The project must be completed by a date specified in the bid submission. Timely completion is an essential element of the contract.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at locations designated by LES within Nebraska.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage rated at least B+ in A.M. Best's Rating. They must also furnish a performance bond from a surety licensed in Nebraska and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, bidders are required to complete the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form.
