Background
The City of Fremont, Nebraska, through its Department of Utilities, is seeking bids for the purchase of a substation transformer.
The goal of this contract is to procure a 69-13.8kV 15/20/25(28) MVA OLTC 7.5%Z transformer to enhance the city's electrical infrastructure and ensure reliable service delivery.

Work Details
The contractor will furnish one (1) substation transformer with the following specifications: 69-13.8kV 15/20/25(28) MVA OLTC 7.5%Z Transformer.
The contractor is responsible for delivering, placing, filling, and assembling the transformer on a pad at the designated site in Fremont, Nebraska.
Bidders must provide a certified check or bid bond amounting to at least five percent (5%) of the bid price for the transformer as a guarantee of good faith and commitment to enter into a contract upon acceptance of their bid.
A performance bond equal to 100% of the contract price will also be required from the successful bidder.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and notification to the successful bidder, with specific timelines for delivery and completion to be established in the bid proposal.
The city desires delivery as soon as possible.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the City of Fremont, Nebraska, specifically at the site designated by the Department of Utilities.
