Spencer Hydro / Dam Decommissioning

The work required under this contract involves providing comprehensive design services including excavation shoring and cofferdam design along with planning, material coordination, schedule preparation, progress reporting, labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, and equipment necessary for the demolition and removal of the powerhouse, powerhouse foundation, spillway structure, and stilling basin at the existing Spencer Hydroelectric Facility, located near Spencer, Nebraska. The scope of work also includes the removal and disposal of sheet pile within the remaining earthen embankment, removal and grading of the remaining earthen embankment, reclamation and seeding of the site, and the removal and safe disposal of all hazardous and non-hazardous materials or substances found on site.
