Background
Sarpy County, Nebraska is seeking qualified contractors to undertake road improvements on Cornhusker Road as part of the Northwest Sarpy Road Network, Project C-77 (25-14). The project aims to enhance the infrastructure and ensure safe transportation routes within the county. The successful contractor will enter into a contract with the Sarpy County Public Works Department for the specified services.

Work Details
The work includes:
- Removal of existing gravel surface
- Vertical profile adjustments
- Installation of storm sewer pipes and structures
- Construction of concrete pavement
- Utility coordination
- Temporary traffic control.

Specific tasks include mobilization, general clearing and grubbing, excavation, concrete pavement installation (9" Class 47B-3500), installation of storm sewer pipes (18", 24", and 30" Type 1), installation of area inlets and junction boxes, erosion control measures, and traffic control signage. The contractor must also ensure compliance with Nebraska Department of Transportation standards for highway construction.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance is set for seventy (70) working days from the agreed start date. The successful bidder must achieve substantial completion of Milestone 1 by December 31, 2025.
