Background
Lincoln Electric System (LES) is a municipal electric utility that has been serving the Lincoln, Nebraska area for over 50 years. The agency is committed to providing safe, reliable, and affordable electricity to its customers. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a vendor for the implementation of SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Integration Suite, which includes migrating existing integrations and providing ongoing support.
Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for:
1) Provisioning SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) and migrating all existing Process Integration (PI) flows to the Integration Suite.
2) Setting up BTP instances, including determining licensing requirements, configuring security roles, and integrating with Azure Entra ID.
3) Co-developing integration flows between the vendor and LES.
4) Completing the setup of SAP Cloud Connector and ensuring performance monitoring is established.
5) Providing user training for both administration and development staff.
6) Optional tasks may include provisioning an Edge Integration Cell for ground-to-ground integrations. The vendor must also provide post-project support for various SAP BTP services over a potential contract term of three years with options for two one-year extensions.
Period of Performance
The project is expected to start in early Q3 2026, following the completion of the Statement of Work, with a go-live date no later than December 2026.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed primarily at Lincoln Electric System's facilities located in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience with SAP BTP configuration, SAP Integration Suite configuration, and ongoing support of BTP services. They are required to complete the LES Standard Services/Consulting Contract, furnish proof of insurance as specified in the contract, complete LES Form F790 (Confidentiality & Security Agreement), and complete LES Form 51 (Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance).
