Renewal Energy for Steele Flats Wind Farm

The work of this contract involves the purchase of 24,379 Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) generated by the Steele Flats Wind Farm (SFWF). These RECs represent an incremental 21% increase in renewable energy output from SFWF for the first half of 2025. The Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) is the entity offering these RECs for sale. This contract opportunity, identified as Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) No. 01-2025, is part of NPPD's ongoing efforts to market additional renewable energy produced at SFWF. Interested parties are invited to submit offers for the purchase of these RECs. All submissions must reference the opportunity ID and pertain specifically to the incremental RECs from the first half of 2025.
