Work Details

- Types: 48 Fiber OPGW (LES SAP Material #22037) and 96 Fiber OPGW (LES SAP Material #27265).
- Must meet IEEE Standard 1138-2009.
- No fiber splices allowed in a continuous length of cable.
- Optical fibers must be ITU-T G.652 revision D or higher, specifically Corning mode SMF-28 Ultra and SMF-28 Ultra 200.
- The cable must have an outside diameter between 0.633” and 0.647” and be compatible with specified Preformed Line Products materials.
- The rated breaking strength must be at least 24,000 pounds, with a fault rating of a minimum of 140 (KA)² S at a maximum temperature of 210°C.
- Delivery must be on a flatbed trailer loaded from the side, ensuring safe transport to Lincoln, Nebraska.
