Background
Lincoln Electric System (LES) is a municipal corporation in Nebraska that has been providing electricity to homes and businesses for nearly 60 years. The goal of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a professional photographer to capture various utility events, customer interactions, employee moments, and industry-related activities for internal and external communications.
Work Details
The contractor will provide professional photography services that include:
1. On-site photography at LES events and activities.
2. Consultation prior to events to discuss specific shots needed, locations, dates, safety protocols, and logistics.
3. Image processing which includes gathering, color correction, and basic retouching of selected images.
4. Delivery of final high-resolution digital images via a secure online gallery or file transfer service.
The contract will cover a total of 85.5 hours in Year 1 and 88 hours in Years 2 and 3 for various events throughout the year including:
- Junior Achievement Bowling Event
- Family Night at Library
- Lincoln Earth Day
- Career fairs
- Zoo Lights events
Additional hours are allocated for storm restoration photography and other requested activities.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over three years with specific hours allocated each year: Year 1: 85.5 hours; Year 2: 88 hours; Year 3: 88 hours.
Place of Performance
Photography services will be performed at various locations within the service area of Lincoln Electric System, primarily in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must complete the LES Standard Services Contract and provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the contract. The insurance must be from a company licensed to operate in Nebraska with a minimum rating of B+ by A.M. Bests Rating. The certificate must list LES as an additional insured for general liability and include a waiver of subrogation.
