Mueller Fire Hydrant Parts

Background
The City of Lincoln is seeking bids for Mueller Fire Hydrant Parts to be used in its Water Distribution System. The purpose of this solicitation is to ensure that the City has the necessary parts for maintenance and repair of fire hydrants, which are critical for public safety and fire protection.

Work Details
The contractor will provide various Mueller Fire Hydrant Parts, including but not limited to:
- 5" Safety Flange Repair Kit (Quantity: 10)
- Operating Screw (Quantity: 10)
- Operating Screw Seal (Quantity: 10)
- Anti-friction Washer (Quantity: 10)
- Stem Nut (Quantity: 10)
- Operating Screw Bearing (Quantity: 10)
- Bearing Seal (Quantity: 10)
- Bonnet Gasket (Quantity: 50)
- Stem Nut Seal (Quantity: 50)
- Wiper Ring (Quantity: 50)
- Upper Stem (Quantity: 2)
- Upper Stem Seal (Quantity: 2)

Additional parts as specified in the bid documents are also required. All unit prices must include delivery costs to the Lincoln Water System Distribution Shop located at 2021 North 27th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska. The contractor is responsible for all costs associated with labor, supervision, materials, shipping, supplies, permits, and licenses required to perform the services requested.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on November 10, 2025, and will be for a one-year term with options for three additional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The delivery point for all products is the Lincoln Water System Distribution Shop located at 2021 North 27th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered on the Owner’s Ebid site to submit a response. Additionally, bidders must comply with the United States Citizenship Attestation Form and may need to provide proof of insurance. The contract may also be subject to the Living Wage ordinance if applicable.
