Background
The City of Lincoln, Nebraska, is issuing this solicitation for the Arterial Paving Rehabilitation project on Vine Street from 66th Street to 70th Street. The project aims to enhance public infrastructure by widening the street and reconstructing necessary components such as driveway approaches and pedestrian ramps to meet federal and local standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Street widening on Vine Street from 66th to 70th Street
- Reconstruction of driveway approaches and pedestrian ramps as needed
- Removal of existing pavement and sidewalks
- Installation of new concrete sidewalks, driveways, and pavement
- Adjustment of water valve boxes and manholes to grade
- Excavation and subgrade stabilization
- Installation of storm sewer inlets
- Removal and salvage of landscaping bricks and rocks
- Installation of traffic signals, including pedestrian signals
- Compliance with all relevant construction specifications.
The total estimated value of this agreement is over $500,000.

Period of Performance
Work may begin on or after May 4, 2026, with substantial completion required by December 1, 2026. The contractor shall achieve final completion within 120 consecutive calendar days from the beginning of work.

The work will be performed in the State of Nebraska along Vine Street between 66th Street and 70th Street.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with insurance requirements as outlined in the Contractual Insurance Determination Form. This includes providing a Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing the Owner(s) as additional insured. Bidders are also required to submit performance bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount upon award.
