UND Campus Bookstore

Background
The University of North Dakota (UND) is soliciting proposals for the operations and management of the University's Bookstore. As North Dakota’s flagship university, UND offers a wide range of academic programs and is recognized for its research activities.

The goal of this contract is to establish a full-service bookstore that meets the needs of students, faculty, staff, and the community while enhancing the university's image.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Full administration of the campus bookstore facility and operations, including employing personnel, ordering course materials and merchandise, managing finances, and preparing financial reports.
2. Creating an inviting atmosphere in a new bookstore location at the corner of University Avenue and Columbia Road, situated in a modern mixed-use building.
3. Providing excellent customer service with efficient transaction processing for both in-store and online purchases.
4. Offering competitive pricing policies for course materials and facilitating electronic textbook adoption processes for faculty.
5. Supplying a variety of branded merchandise at different price points both in-store and online.
6. Implementing seamless technology solutions to support bookstore operations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence in April 2025 with an initial term of five years, with potential renewals extending up to five additional years.

Place of Performance
The bookstore will be located on the main campus of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
